Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. The plan was simple: go to the farmers market, buy tomatoes for a salad, come home. That was the plan. The plan lasted approximately four minutes.
The Descent
First it was the bread stand. Sourdough boules still warm from the oven, the smell pulling you in like a cartoon character floating toward a pie on a windowsill. Then the cheese guy — “want to try the aged gouda?” Of course we want to try the aged gouda.
Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Then the honey. Then the hot sauce lady. Then a jar of pickled something that we definitely didn’t need but the label was hand-written and charming.

We kept walking. We kept buying.
The Peach
But then — the peach. A single white peach from a stand run by a quiet woman who didn’t have a sign. We almost walked past. We bit into it in the parking lot, juice running down our wrists, and it was the best thing we’d eaten all week. Maybe all month.
The Moral
There is no moral. We will do this again next Saturday. We will go for one thing and come back with twelve. The farmers market always wins.
