Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. There’s a version of pancakes that involves buttermilk and separating eggs and folding batter and resting it for thirty minutes. This is not about those pancakes.

The Ritual

This is about the pancakes you make on a Sunday morning when no one is dressed yet and the coffee is still brewing. Flour, egg, milk, a pinch of salt, a bit of sugar. Mixed in a bowl with a fork, lumps and all.
